CBT Studio

CBT Studio is an educational app that gives you access to over 70 thousand real JAMB and POST-UTME past questions from 1978 - 2023 with answers and explanation. This app is designed to help students confidently sit for UTME & POST-UTME, pass these exams with ease and gain admission into their preferred institutions.

CBT Studio doesn't just provide the content (questions), it also guide on how to effectively access the content, which in turn increases students' confidence to sit and past CBT exams. This app gives a well detailed analysis of every subject and every question taken, generate performance report and gives advice base on the current performance.

CBT Studio uses the current JAMB marking scheme to process your JAMB score and provides an appealing summary interface of every practice session.

Core features of CBT Studio:

1. Past Questions:

Have access to over 70 thousand real JAMB & POST-UTME past questions from 1978 to 2022 with answers and explanation  

2. JAMB Syllabus:

Contains complete and up-to-date JAMB Syllabus which is completely available offline.

3. CBT Quiz:

CBT Studio lets you learn in a fun way. This feature allows students to select any subject and number of questions for a given quiz session. Each question carries 2marks and is time based.

4. Dictionary:

A complete offline dictionary is included for word search, part of speech and meaning.

5. Institutions:

Over 200 Nigerian Institutions (Universities & Polytechnics) with brief information are readily available for exploration. This also include JAMB cut-off marks, courses offered and an option to directly visit institution's website. A search function is also provided for quick navigation.

6. Career Courses:

CBT Studio lets candidates to explore courses offered by Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics. Course explanation, O'Level subjects required and JAMB subjects combination are also included to properly guide the students in choosing a carrier course.

7. Categorize Questions:

Divides questions into 3 categories;
    -Taken: A collection of questions you've attempted - selecting this category tells the app to ask you ONLY the questions you've taken before.
   - Never Taken: A collection of question of questions you've never practiced in the app. This category will help you practice fresh questions from a certain subject, thereby increasing your chances of answering any question in the real exam.
   - Mixed: If this category is selected, CBT Studio will pick random questions from the above two categories.

8. Learning Options:

The app contains two learning options at the moment;
   - CBT Exams: This learning option gives you the real exam experience. viewing answers and explanations, pausing the exam session and question statistics are not available during the practice session.
   - CBT Practice: In this learning option, you can view answers and explanation, see question statistics on the fly and you can pause/resume the practice session as well.

9. Result:

After each practice session in the app, you'll be presented with a detailed and appealing breakdown of your overall and subject specific performance which include;
  - Total questions: The total number of questions you selected
  - Correct: The number of questions you answered correctly
  - Wrong: The number of questions you answered wrongly
  - Skipped: The once you skipped during the practice session
  - Score: overall and subject specific score.
  - Score Percent: representation of your score in percent.

11. Customization:

Allows you to customize options like;
  - Exam year: The year(s) you want questions to be selected from
  - Question count: The number of questions you want to take
  - Duration: How long you want the practice session to last (Hours and/or minutes)
  - Question category: The category of questions you want to practice (explained in 3 above).

12. Multiple subjects:

You can practice as many subjects as you want in a single session and you can easily navigate through these subjects during the practice session. This equally means that you can switch to the next subject and answer some questions and return to the previous subject without interruption.

13. Quick Navigation:

You can quickly jump to any question number using the 'Goto' button which gives you a properly arranged numbers of all the questions in the current session. The question numbers are coloured differently and this colouring quickly tells you the questions you've answered and the ones you haven't answered .

14. Multiple Users:

CBT Studio has full support for multiple users. This functionality is usefull in a networked environment - where multiple computers (Clients) are connected to a single computer (Server).
Once CBT Studio is installed in the server, it is automatically accessible by the client computers without further configrations
